About Us

CASA of the Northern Judicial Circuit/Advocates Alliance for Children

About CASA of the Northern Judicial Circuit.

At CASA of the Northern Judicial Circuit, we empower volunteers to be the voice for abused and neglected children within our community.

Serving Hart, Franklin, Elbert, Madison & Oglethorpe Counties, we work tirelessly to ensure every child experiencing foster care has a chance to thrive in a safe, loving, and permanent home.

Advocating for Youth in Our Community.

As part of a nationwide movement, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) trains dedicated volunteers to advocate for the best interests of vulnerable children in court. Since our founding, we’ve been a beacon of hope, helping children navigate the complexities of the child welfare system while addressing their emotional, educational, and physical needs.

Every day, we strive to build a community where no child is forgotten, and every voice is heard. Join us in making a lasting impact by volunteering, donating, or spreading awareness about our mission. Together, we can transform lives and create brighter futures.

“…Through the tireless efforts of trained and supervised volunteers, we advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of abused and neglected children, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard in court.”

Our Community. Our Mission.

  • CASA of the Northern Judicial Circuit is dedicated to providing a strong and compassionate voice for children in the foster care system. Through the tireless efforts of trained and supervised volunteers, we advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of abused and neglected children, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard in court.

  • We envision a community where every child has the opportunity to thrive in a safe, caring, and permanent home. Our goal is to break the cycle of abuse and neglect, empowering children to build a brighter, more secure future.

At CASA of the Northern Judicial Circuit, we believe that every child deserves a champion. Through advocacy, collaboration, and compassion, we work to create a world where no child feels invisible and every child has the chance to succeed.

Our History

Founded with a mission to protect and uplift children experiencing foster care, CASA of the Northern Judicial Circuit has been a pillar of support for vulnerable youth since its inception. Originally a part of Northeast GA CASA, additional need was identified in the Hart, Franklin, Madison, Elbert, and Oglethorpe counties, which provided opportunity to establish CASA of the NJC.

Initially operating under the umbrella of another nonprofit, our organization quickly grew into an independent 501(c)(3) agency to expand our impact. Over the years, we’ve trained countless volunteers who have advocated for the needs of children in foster care, ensuring they are placed in safe, stable, and loving homes.

CASA of the Northern Judicial Circuit is proud to be part of a larger national movement, with nearly 1,000 CASA programs working across the country to give children in the foster care system a voice. Since our founding, we’ve helped transform the lives of children, and we remain committed to creating a brighter future for every child in need.

Counties We Serve:
Our advocacy extends to five counties in Northeast Georgia: Hart, Franklin, Madison, Elbert, and Oglethorpe counties. Each county has unique challenges, but our commitment to every child remains unwavering.

How CASA NJC Makes a Difference

At CASA of the Northern Judicial Circuit, we are dedicated to being a lifeline for children experiencing the foster care system. Our trained volunteer advocates work directly with children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard in court.

The Role of Volunteers
Our volunteers are the heart of our mission. They provide critical information to the judge, helping to make recommendations that prioritize the safety, well-being, and future of each child. By building trusting relationships, CASA advocates give children the support they need during one of the most challenging times in their lives.

Real Change for Real Lives
With CASA by their side, children in foster care are more likely to find safe, permanent homes and have their educational, emotional, and physical needs addressed. Our work ensures that no child feels forgotten and that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Join us in creating a brighter future for children in need by volunteering or donating today. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
